Wellness Challenge - Day 13

Week 2
Day 6

IT IS SWEET DAY!!!!!!!! What can I say?

- I took my vitamins, supplements and medicine all with 1/2 cup of oj
- I had my cereal with milk

- I had 4 cups of water 


I went to Barre class, awesome! I think I deserve some sweets right now. I decided to have 6 candies and one bubble gum.
 
-I had...Shrimp/Spinach salad, with corn, cucumbers, beets, summer squash and zucchini. 
- 4 cups of water

I had yet another pizza, but my friend ordered a chicken pesto, so at least I got more veggies this way. 


I dressed up as "La Catrina" Sugar Skull

We went for a party for trick or treating with some friends and their children. My baby daughter gave me a lot of her chocolates!!! Yay for sweet day!!! At 7:30pm it was adult time, DRINK or TREAT!!! It was a lot of fun. I took my make up off. So I could concentrate on drinking!!!

It consisted on 4 houses, we would go for a sweet drink and fire pit. There was a lot of food, but I don't know if you noticed I am a picky eater and eat mostly the same over and over. So, the food look great But I wasn't in the mood for it. Also, on the second house we hit 8:30pm and I realized I had not had any fruits, so I ate a banana and an apple. I could drink, but not eat any longer.

-The first one: Hot Butter Rum




-The second one: Caramel Apple Sangría  





-The third one: Sour Apple Margarita (The Winner!!!!!)



-The fourth one: The Babbling Baby (No dry ice. I did not like this one) And I mostly drank Miller lite.



By the end, I had a huge headache!!! I don't know why!!!!

Wellness Challenge - Day 12

Weight: 127lb (Don't get me wrong, I like this number but my scale must be broken or something)

The good news, as you see it right above is I have been working on quickbooks and have 4points already!!!!! Yay! this really makes me happy!!! I did not get to work out yesterday because of it. I did not want to break my concentration, but I had today, tomorrow and Sunday to work out, so no problems. I went to yoga today and I am happy to see I am taking it seriously. Even the teacher were amazed to see me there today!

I had pizza last night , I couldn't resist. I was tired, did not want to cook, and so hungry. Last week I said I wasn't going to have any at all. Well, I had 4 pieces!!!!! on my defense, 2 of them weren't as big!!!! Hahahhaha 

I am Latina and I am addicted to chocolate, caramel, and candies! So you know! AGH!!! after 9pm last night I was again on the verge of losing it. I even calculated the points I would lose if I ate after 9 and if I ate any sweets at all. I almost declared yesterday my sweet day, I would have lost Saturday. I could not do that because Saturday is Halloween day - Sweet Day!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO I had to wait, my sweet craving are getting worse than ever. I woke up today with a so severe headache, I am not sure whether it may be related to my cravings.

On another note, I think my scale must be broken after the pizza I ate yesterday, it seems I lost 3lbs. That must be wrong!!!

Wellness Challenge - Day 11

Today is one of the days I have to wake up one hour earlier so my oldest daughter gets to do extracurricular activities at school. I woke up at the same time, I usually wake them up and that meant she had only 18 mins to be showered, dressed, full belly, combed, teeth brushed, and out waiting for the bus. I have no idea we did it but she made it on time for the bus. That being said, my baby daughter had to do stuff by herself without me present, rushing her to do so.Due to an incident with our dog last night, she did not finished her homework, she had more or less time to do her homework in the morning and be on time for the bus, but it took longer and I had to drive her to school. 
I did not have time to eat my breakfast, and my Zumba class is very early, I did not have time to change and have breakfast without missing the whole class. I missed my class. The good thing is that I have zumba in my xbox and I will exercise at home today.

Now, my challenge above is still zero (NADA), no scratches whatsoever! I am hopeful today. Fingers cross!

I am happy to announce that I can officially scratch 4 months and I have 2 points!!!!! I am very happy! I haven't had lunch yet, it is 1:28pm but I am hopeful that in the late afternoon I will be able to work on more months.

Wellness Challenge - Day 10

- I had my cereal with milk

- I had 2 cups of water 

I went to Yoga instead of Barre. I feel extremely sore, especially because I may have pulled a muscle in my back. 
My fight against making my challenge has started t switch towards me winning; some progress has been made. I am officially organizing documents, invoices and payments even though I haven't opened the quickbooks file yet. Therefore, I cannot yet scratch any months. On the other hand, my last week's challenge has stamped a routine on me and I find myself very active. My water intake has increased, as has my need to run to the loo, which reminds me of my pregnancy days. ;) Feeling hopeful!
 
-I had Shrimp salad with cucumbers, corn, zuchinni and beets for lunch.
-I had 2 cups of water
-I had Salmon with green beans
I had 2 cups of water
-I had pomegranate
I had no noticed the time, and when I check it is 8:52pm and hadn't had my last fruit. I rush to eat my banana finished it and suddenly it was 9pm.
I almost missed my points! Phew! 
After night, I started craving chocolate again! Anything sweet! crave, crave, crave, crave!!! Aghhhhhh! This is driving me crazyyyyyyyy!
Goood thing I saw my husband eating a package of Nilla's, berrated at him for eating after 9pm and that helped me not to succumb into my craving. PHEW!!!!

Wellness Challenge - Day 9

- I had my cereal with milk

- 4 cups of water are in as well
- Shrimp salad with cucumbers, corn, avocado and beets for lunch
  
I ate a late lunch, because instead of start working on quickbooks I decided it was a warm enough day (45 F) to work on the plants outside and bring them inside before they all freeze. I also brought the settee I bought for the front porch, I cut the plants that don't need to be long for the snow. I could not finish everything but had a bunch of things done. Great! 
You see, this is how I purposely get busy to not have time to do what I am supposed to be doing. 

Day 2 Challenge 0

One good thing about having had a late lunch is that I am not hungry and ate fruits instead of dinner. I hope that doesn't backfire late at night!
-I ate pomegranate and mango
Also, I work out with my xbox, which was a gift from my husband (I asked for it), so I could do zumba at home. I had totally forgotten I had it, until a challenge contender mention she had worked out with wii Dance!! One other way to work out at home!!! Thank you Jennifer!
 I am too tired now to actually work on QB and I have to go get a tooth under a pillow before I forget.

Food shopping is a must today. So I need to make the list of food I need to buy. I still have to continue with my gym classes and have to somehow start working on Quickbooks today. I have only 7 days to finish my challenge. work, work, work.

- 2 cups of water are in as well
- Shrimp salad with cucumbers, corn, avocado and beets for lunch
-lots of pomegranate
-I had mix nuts with dried cranberries and raisins
-For dinner I had only Salmon and green beans

I had no cravings and that felt good. drank my water, but at no moment I touch any files or opened quickbooks. I am starting to think that this is not going to be a good challenge for me. I am still procrastinating and it is driving me crazy.
It is just the first day, and I still have time to do it. Let's see!

Wellness Challenge - Day 7

Yes! I did it!!! My 10 points!!!! Now I have to think about my next personal challenge.....hmmmmmm. We'll figure it out tomorrow, won't we?
 
- I took my vitamins, supplements and medicine all with 1/2 cup of oj
- I had my cereal with milk

-I had my last banana, Oh boy!

I went to my Yoga class and can't help but be SORE all over! I have to still do my exercises, it is just so painful!!! OY!!!! At the same time, if I weren't sore I could not feel that this challenge is working. I don't really care that my body weight is going yoyo on me! I am loving feeling healthy! We can get rid of the few pounds later on! I am loving it!!! That is all I can say! I had a few bad choices, overall I am happy with getting use to eating healthy.

Never mind, I got hungry on a bad place and had to have something to eat ASAP, so I had a semi lunch.
-Bagel with cream cheese and grapes with tea (black tea!)
-because of that bad choice, I was hungry again before 4pm and had to have some other horrific choice of food, 3 plain mini chicken taquitos with guacamole. Not the end of the world but I just miss my salad!

-Dinner: we went to a restaurant to celebrate my baby's b-day and ordered steak with broiled vegetables (Squash, zucchini, and peppers)...and french fries! haha

I hope tomorrow my Week 2 starts better, I hope I make better choices, I hope I exercise more, I hope I eat less carbs. Let's see...

Wellness Challenge - Day 6 A.K.A. Sweet Day!!!!!

4 out of 5! I am almost there and I am loving it!
- I took my vitamins, supplements and medicine all with 1/2 cup of oj
- I had my cereal with milk

-Banana (the only fruit of the day) lost those 3 points!!!!
 

My Barre class was with a different teacher. Let me tell you, her class is so challenging and and she is so helpful, that I may continue to go to it. Loved it!!



Today is my girl's birthday party, and because it is my SWEET DAY, I expect to have lots of sweets.  It is a double wammy because, tonight I'll be out with my hubby at the movie theater and that means 'sweet tooth come to mama.' I know I want to start to moderate a little but let's see!

For lunch I had a Plain Turkey sandwich with shredded mozzarella ad water.
-I did not eat a cake but I had a mini tiny sweet pumpkin that came on her cake.
Her party was at roller skate place so I exercised on top of my morning class! Double wammy again!!!
My husband and I went to a restaurant before the movie so I took advantage and ordered a very healthy meal.
-Grilled Salmon with Squash spaghetti, asparagus and grilled zucchini, and sprite.

Here is for snacks at the movie theater!!!! Popcorn, chocolate bar and sprite!!!! YAY
