Project #5 Grout

Problems that come with not doing all the reno at once. As I told you before, the floor installation of the condo was done with the old (1985 old) vanity sink in place. That means that when we decided to change the vanity, the floor has a different floor on that area with the shape of the old vanity. You already know I don't know how to install tiles nor I had time to fill that up. The now-a-days standard vanities are a bit smaller and obviously do not have the same shape of the old 1985 vanities. So the plumber came up with the idea of breaking extra tiles I have from the floor installation, literally arrange them on the floor below the new vanities and make it look better than having a hole not to mention he needed that elevation to level the vanities. Now, all I had to do and he encourage me to do was to put grout in between tiles to make it look better and professional.

As a good DIY and HGTV afficionado,
I went online and checked on all the videos that explained how to grout tiles.
We had also grout left from the floor installation.
All I needed to do was to pour an eye amount of
water and mix it to look like pancake mix.

Once is in, I had to clean it with a damp towel
Done and Done!
YES!!!!!
Latina's out!
