Project #5 is going to take a long time. I have been thinking for a long time how the two bathrooms of our beach condo weren't updated. Not that the entire condo is, but at least is decent. Not those bathrooms. The floor was the first thing I needed it to be changed. We bought the condo, the beach condo with a pink carpet all over, the bathrooms, kitchen and laundry area floor was a yellow linoleum. We got some neutral tiles at Home Depot and got the entire condo's floor remodeled by a Home Depot's contractor. We also had the living room, dining room and girl's bedroom's wallpaper removed. So my husband and I could paint. Other than that we decided to leave it as it is.
However, every time we went to stay over at the condo I didn't feel happy because the bathrooms looked like you can see below. Not only the wallpaper was hideous, but it was falling down, especially on Bathroom #1.
Bathroom #1
Bathroom #2
It is time to get rid of this I told my husband. We have 15 to work on this, I can do it! It was a scary moment I must admit. I could F@#$% it up, big time! At the same time, as perfectionist as I am, I knew it was going to be exhausting but I had a big shot. I started!
I went to Home Depot, I was told to get WP Chomp! wallpaper stripper. I got enthused and got the scoring tool from WP Chomp! as well.
I did it because every time a googled 'removing wallpaper'; most of the videos on YouTube seems to suggest it was best.
To be continued.
Latina's out!
