Wellness Challenge - Day 17

Week 3
Day 3
Weight: 126.5lb (Nice to see it is going lower and hopefully one day I will be down to my goal weight 125 )
Weekly Challenge goal: Work on the girls' quilts
                                          1 hour per day - Half hour per quilt

                                          1 hour per day - Half hour per quilt

FOOD:
- I took my vitamins, supplements and medicine all with 1/2 cup of oj
- I had my cereal with milk

- 3 cups of water

-I had Shrimp/Spinach salad, corn, beets, cucumbers,  summer squash and zucchini
- 4 cups of water
-3 pieces of pizza for dinner - I will regret this tomorrow
-I had 1 mandarine and pomegranate
- 2 cups of water

PROBLEMS/CHALLENGE/LET'S CHAT:
I had a lot of chocolate cravings during the day. I just wish it was as plain as it was quitting cigarettes. Yes, I smoke cigarettes for 10 years, even though I sort of knew I had asthma. I quit cold turkey and maybe that was the key. The fact that this challenge allows me to eat sweets one day of the week is like a license to eat it. I guess my next week challenge should be to not eat more sweets period. Of course, I will regret this nonsense tomorrow! For now, I am craving chocolate, and I am mad because of it. 

BTW, I thought I would be working my first our of quilts, but again, NADA. I really do not see making my challenge this week. That sucks big time!  

On another note, I did yoga today. I really feel good after exercising it is refreshing. It is a big deal to get out of the house and ready to go to the gym. Today, I made plans to get ready at 10:30am, that way I would be leaving the house 15 to 11 and be there on time to set up my yoga mat and a good place for me to see and hear the teacher. I am Latina, but you know that, English is technically my third language, but because I use it more than my second language (Portuguese) it has become my official second language. I also have a ringing on my right ear and am losing hearing. Therefore, it is more difficult for me to understand people. I need to have my teacher on my left and I need to be diagonal to her right so I can see what she does in case I can't hear her. If I am too far in the back I cannot see her, if I am on her left side, I can see her but not hear her well, etc. Today, I checked the clock and it was 5 to 11. OH boy! I run like I could to get my gym clothes in, the car keys, I was out, got there at 11:03 and thankfully she was just starting, almost close the door on my face, and I was able to strategically locate myself in a good place enough for me to do all of the above. My body more than I myself love to exercise, it feels like when you drink water after being so thirsty. that is exactly how I feel. I am just starting to understand that. This is one of the things that makes me happy about this challenge.
