PROBLEMS/CHALLENGE/LET'S CHAT:
I felt that this week went by too fast. Today was a great day. I exercised, I worked on the quilt, I had quite the sugar cravings that was able to overcome. The cake is still alive but I haven't touch it. I guess inside my auto-sabotage mode, I feel that if I eat even a little piece of the cake and it does not taste like I have think it is going to taste somehow I will screw my sweet day. This is me analyzing myself. Honestly I think I am right on.
This week I met another Colombian woman who lives not so far from us and puts my hopes high. If I have another friend who thinks the way I think here (she, much less than I do) hates this place. So, I have an allied, who can understand where I am coming from. See? To me it is a relief because I know that somehow (she and I), will end up loving this place and not want to leave, when the time comes. So, my job is to show her how much fun we can have here, her job is the same, and together feel absolutely hopeless when we miss our own place. Tonight we had our second meet together and first meeting our own families. It went actually pretty well! Lots of fun! I am very hopeful!
